Alisha Thomas is an atypical mishmash of left brain/right brain. She started Wait. What? Consulting in 2019 to help creatives understand the numbers side of business. She has a formal degree in art and design and an informal degree in small creative business, which she gained while co-owning and running finance, operations, and logistics for a successful textile company that went on to sell in Target, Walmart, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Throughout her career, she has worked with a team of magical accountants and CPAs that helped her gain a love of numbers and an understanding of how small businesses operate. When Alisha is not crunching numbers, she is usually sewing something pink with bows or watching old movies with her husband, Dallas and sweet baby Lew.
